EARLY YEARS ADMISSIONS 2021
Thank you for showing an interest in joining Milton Mount Primary School in September 2021.
Everything we do at our school is intended to ensure that your child is happy, loves learning and makes fantastic progress in all aspects of school life. We want our children to believe in themselves and feel that anything is possible.
We know that each child is different and has talents that are unique. At Milton Mount we aim to provide an exciting curriculum that motivates, engages and enthuses all our children. We are incredibly proud of our children and their achievements.
Due to Covid-19 we cannot offer normal Open Days so we have created a virtual school tour and we are offering Zoom meetings with the Headship Team and Early Years Lead for any questions you may have. If you cannot attend any of these sessions please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any question you have.

Quotes from current Reception parents :
“The teachers have been very nurturing towards my son and he is really happy at the school. In the short time he has been there we have really seen a difference in his development, the teachers are clearly very dedicated and caring. The tapestry updates are great and I love to see how motivated and engaged my son is from all the creative play. We as parents are extremely happy and grateful to the school.”
“There are lots of lovely things to say about Milton Mount. This was my first choice of school and I couldn’t be happier. The early years team are amazing, super friendly and always greet us with a smile (even in the rain!). As well as having a brilliant head teacher & teaching staff, the resources available to the children are incomparable. Overall, Milton Mount, in my opinion, is a very special place. My son looks forward to going to school everyday and I very much look forward to hearing whether he’s been looking for the Gruffalo in the woods or finding treasure with his friends in the sand pit.”
“I was a bit worried about how my son would settle in at school as it can take him a while to adjust to new surrounding and people. If I’m honest I worried for no reason as he loves school and has adapted really well, and that’s thanks to the teachers and their approach to treating each child individually. All the early years teachers and teaching assistants are so lovely they really do care, there is such a warm and welcoming atmosphere when your in the school, even the head greets my son by his name and he has only just started.
We weren’t able to visit the school beforehand due to COVID-19, instead the teachers posted videos on YouTube which really helped my son to familiarise himself with the teachers and the environment, when we met the teachers in person it felt like we already knew them as we’d seen the videos so many times.
The school itself is very modern and there is so much to do. The outside area is amazing! My son loves playing in the mud kitchen and the construction area.
My son only tells me little bits and pieces about his day so I can struggle to work out what he has been up to, but the teachers use tapestry to communicate and send pictures of what the children have been doing, which is not only lovely to see but also helps to start conversations between me and my son about his day.”
