Welcome to Milton Mount Primary School. We are a thriving, inclusive community school that puts nurturing children's personal, social and academic progress at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child should know they are a valued member of our community, feel successful and be supported to develop a lifelong love of learning.
Benefitting from extensive grounds, open green space and our own Forest School, we make the most of every day, enjoy a well-rounded curriculum and provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
If you are considering Milton Mount for your child, please contact the school office to book onto one of our Open Days.
I look forward to welcoming you to our school.

Dear Parents and Carers,
We are excited to let you know that Milton Mount Primary School will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 6th March 2026.
To ensure the children can fully enjoy the day (and make the most of their costumes!), we will be celebrating on the Friday with a fun-filled day of reading and book-related activities across the school. Classes will take part in a range of exciting experiences designed to promote a love of reading and celebrate the power of stories.
Children are invited to come to school dressed as:
Our Morning Book Character Parade is always a highlight of the day, where each class will have the opportunity to showcase their costumes and share the books that have inspired them.
Costumes do not need to be elaborate or expensive; creativity is what matters most! We love seeing homemade ideas and imaginative interpretations of well-loved stories. Please click the link below for some low-cost dressing up ideas:

We can’t wait to celebrate reading together and make this year’s World Book Day another memorable one for the Milton Mount community.
Thank you for your continued support.

Choir On Tour On Tuesday 24th February, the Milton Mount Choir joined up with over 8700 other children to perform in the Young Voices 2026 concert at the O2 Arena in London. Mrs Catling, Mr Little and I had the honour of being part of this incredible experience and we are still on a high (minus the tiredness!) from another truly wonderful night to remember. I am so incredibly proud of these 35 phenomenal children who have been rehearsing for this concert since before the Summer holidays to learn so many words, actions and dance moves...they absolutely demonstrated strength and enthusiasm throughout. Their behaviour was outstanding and they were the most brilliant representatives of Milton Mount. Thank you, children for being such shining stars! Thank you to Alona, Aurica, Denisa, Kevin and Sarah, the Grown-Ups who helped us get up to London safely on the train and tube, and an even bigger thank you to Debbie and Lina who then sang and danced their way through the day and night with us during the rehearsals and concert, too. We couldn't have done this without you. I will leave the last words to some of our lovely singers, who have taken part in all three of the Young Voices concerts we have been to. Here's to many more years to come! Mrs Coysh The dark dazzling lights shone on us when we sang. There was endless dancing from us and the astonishing Urban Strides dance group. Even the ecstatic audience were on their feet! Being part of Young Voices is a truly momentous experience and getting to treasure every moment of it with your friends is even greater. From the travel to the concert, we enjoyed every moment. If you like to sing, hopefully you will be able to attend in future years. Astronaut Training Day! Early Years had an absolute blast on Tuesday taking part in Astronaut Training Day! They arrived dressed as real astronautshelmets, suits, and all! First stop was the hall, where they took part in Fitness Camp, testing their strength and agility just like space explorers. Afterwards, they spent the rest of the morning completing a variety of space missions and sensory experiences across our different training camps. Each mission brought them one step closer to earning their official astronaut certificatesand they all smashed it! #AstronautTraining #EarlyYears #SpaceAdventure #LittleExplorers #LearningThroughPlay #MiltonMountPrimarySchool
