Here at Milton Mount we are incredibly lucky to have a dedicated woodland area inside our school grounds where our children, through play, learn about the natural environment, how to handle risks and most importantly how to use their own initiative to solve problems and co-operate with others.
This unique way of learning allows the children to build independence, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
We ask that each child brings to school a change of clothing and appropriate footwear for these sessions. Ideally, they should bring old clothes as they will get dirty and wet. Footwear should be old trainers, walking boots or wellingtons and they will also need a warm coat and waterproofs.
